Founded and led by CEO Wanda Stewart, the organization fosters a supportive “sisterhood” for female anglers ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals. Core Offerings & Community Supportive Network: The platform connects women through social media and its official website, encouraging them to share their adventures, photos, and fishing reports. Expert Resources: Members can access fishing trip reports, gear reviews, and technical advice on targeting coastal species like redfish and speckled trout. Utility Tools: The RodnReelGirls website provides practical tools for active fishers, including tide and weather updates based on NOAA data. Regional Focus: While it has a broad reach, the content heavily highlights Louisiana’s marshes, bayous, and Gulf Coast waters, specifically areas like Cocodrie and Chauvin. Advocacy & Mission The organization advocates for the conservation of natural resources and strives to increase the representation of women and children in outdoor sports.
